Well, I am new to your site, but I hope it is active like others I have been in.
i just acquired a 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner, An original 383 car with auto and hardtop, nothing too special. I have always wanted one and this one needs a ton of help, but I think its in all our best interests to rescue any Mopars I can find. So, here begins the journey of restoration.
I have may baby home and its got issues galore. Trunk is gone, no engine, no tranny, interior is gone, a regular barn find like I expected. I just couldn't pass up the challenge. I have a 74 Spitfire that is about 50% done, now I have the dream muscle car to get going on.
If you guys can help, I will ask when I need it, if there are other places I should chat, feel free to recommend. I have alot of car experience doing bodywork, welding, electrical, engine work, turbo, etc. so I will try and contribute where I can.
Thanks for the forum, I hope it becomes a valuable resource.
Thanks
Randy

Congrats and good luck. I hope to have my own little disaster soon. Are you going back with the 383 or venturing on to the 440 or maybe a crate 426? Just curious. I hope to go with the hemi if it's feasable. The friggin long blocks are 15 grand! You can find good 440's for 4 to 10k depending on the candy and who baked the cookies. I hope to find 70 GTX but it's getting slim out there. Later.

Decided to go 440 six pack. I found a 440 Magnum from a 71 Charger for real cheap. Its tore down and ready for the conversion to six pack parts.
Just started to clean the car up the last few days.
