i have a 1974 Plymouth Duster, with a 198 Slant 6. i need to know, since its a 3 manual, what tranny is it and what are my options for bigger engine to bolt to it?

You could go up to a 225. On the V8's the starter mounts on the bottom of the tranny on the drivers side.. The slant six the starter mounts on the top of the tranny on the drivers side.
