cam selection rear assembly

So I've stumbled across this new site, and of coarse I got a couple of questions.
I have a 74 swinger \6, aquired a 75 valiant sm block car (no motor\no trans), and a 76 royal monaco w\360\727 trans. Stipped valiant of all it's goodies brakes, k-member etc. Pulled motor\trans and scrapped monaco. Rebuilt bottom end .30 over flat top pistons lapped +spec'd head. Have edelbrock alum performer intake, and a holley 770 cfm carb, elec ignition, hopefully elec water pump and fans. Confussed about cam selection???? I have a 8.25 rear end and am planning on 3.55 gears + posi w/ 245/60/14 tires. I would like to keep the car somewhat street/hwy friendly, but wouldn't mind taking out a 5.0L from time to time!!
One more question we all know how ugly the rear section(tail lights+bumper) is on a 74, and i would like to swap it out for 70-73 looks possible but some insight would be nice.
Am i over carbed as well?
Thanks mopar or no car
